科研团队简介(包含成立背景、主要研究成果、本科生及研究生培养情况等,500字以内):

根系生物学研究中心(简称根系中心)成立于2015年,是福建农林大学的二级研究机构。中心由廖红教授担任首席科学家及中心主任,现有专职研究人员8人,其中教授2人,副教授3人。根系中心以改良作物根系的养分吸收利用特性为研究目标,通过创建根系生物学研究的专门技术体系,围绕作物养分高效的根系生物学基础展开研究,并运用于作物养分高效遗传改良;同时还针对酸性土壤上的植物营养特性,制定豆科作物最佳养分管理措施,及通过间作养分高效豆科作物提高茶树、幼龄果树等的养分利用效率,达到减肥增效的目的。根系中心计划在数年内将福建农林大学植物营养学建设为具有重要国际影响力的学科,在大豆根系生物学及大豆养分高效遗传改良的研究领域取得重要突破,为促进福建省生态农业建设及可持续发展做出贡献。
